The fitter

Who you're working with

I'm Alberto Arenas, a passionate, experienced bikefitter dedicated to helping cyclists of all levels ride more comfortably, efficiently, and confidently.

With over a decade in the bikefitting world, I've learned that every rider is unique, from your body, goals, and riding style to your experience with pain, performance limits, or just wanting to enjoy the ride more.

My approach goes beyond simple measurements; I take time to understand your journey, your cycling history, your goals, and what matters most to you on and off the bike.

My mission is to thoughtfully and precisely tailor your bike setup so that it fits you, whether you're chasing your next personal record, training for a big event, or simply riding for the joy of it. Every bikefit is personal, detailed, and focused on helping you feel stronger, more comfortable, and truly connected to your bike.

Every level is built on the same foundation: your body measured first, the bike adjusted to it second. What changes is how deep the analysis goes.

Riders

What riders say

After the fit, I could stay in the hood position more comfortably, and staying in the drops felt more sustainable.

S.Performance Fit

This bike fit is so good!! It's so aero that I don't get airflow to my face. You crushed it — thank you!

Common questions

Which one do I book?

Have a bike? Start with a Performance Fit. Don’t have it yet? Start with Bikefinder.

Do I bring my own bike?

Yes. Bring the bike you actually ride, exactly as you ride it. Don't clean it up or change anything first; wear patterns and how it's currently set up are useful information.

What should I bring and what should I wear?

Your cycling kit, your cycling shoes, and your pedals if they aren't already on the bike. If you use more than one pair of shoes, bring both. Any insoles or orthotics you ride with should come too.

Do I need to be a racer to book a fit?

No. Most riders who come in aren't racing anyone. Comfort, staying injury-free and enjoying longer rides are reasons enough. The process is the same regardless of how fast you go.

I get pain or numbness when I ride. Can a fit fix it?

Often, yes. A lot of knee, lower back, hand, foot and saddle discomfort traces back to position. The fit starts by finding out whether your issue is positional or something else. If it's something else, you'll be told that rather than sold a fit that won't help.

Do you fit triathlon and time trial bikes?

Yes. TT and triathlon positions are covered in every level, and the Aero Performance Fit and Elite Performance Lab are built specifically around getting a race position that's both fast and sustainable.

I'm buying a new bike. Should I get fitted before or after?

Before. The Bikefinder & Saddle Optimization session gives you a target frame size, stack and reach window and saddle recommendation before you commit to a frame, which is a much cheaper time to find out something doesn't fit. The $175 then comes off an Aero Performance Fit once the bike arrives.

Do I get anything to take away?

Yes. Every fit from Performance Fit upward includes a Retül positional measurement report documenting saddle height, setback, stack, reach and bar height, plus a private performance dashboard. Your position is recorded precisely enough to reproduce on a future bike or after an equipment change.

What if the position needs adjusting afterwards?

Get in touch. Bodies adapt over the weeks after a fit and small refinements are normal. The Elite Performance Lab includes a follow-up review within three months as standard.

How long does a session take?

From about 1.5 hours for Bikefinder up to around 4 hours for the Elite Performance Lab. Each service lists its duration above. Allow a little more time than the number says. Sessions aren't rushed.
